OSHI ZUSHI

I start working at Japanese restaurant as a chef helper in Vancouver.
This restaurant is small about 10 table and counter seats. Owner is from Korea. But she had been in Japan for 10 years, and she is experienced of being an instructor mainly of Japanese food at cooking schools in Korea, Canada, and the U.S.
I enjoy working there.

I want to have my own restaurant or cafe  in foreign country in the future.
But there is a lot of Japanese restauranrt in Vancouver. I would like to have a restaurant in my partner's country.

"OSHI ZUSHI"
Today, I cooked really easy and delicious SUSHI, and it's called  "OSHI ZUSHI".
In English "Press Sushi".

No foods in the fridge!!

When I opened my fridge, there were some ingredients…!!
It is rainy almost everyday in Vancouver, and we don’t have car. That is why we became lazy for shopping.

I heard that a lot of people get depression in winter time in Vancouver because of the weather. I wonder how Canadian people are chilling up with this weather in winter. Also Japan has rainy season for 2 months but there are a lot of places to enjoy as Karaoke, Manga cafes, hot springs, shopping malls, and amusement parks.

If you are living in Vancouver, could you tell us how to enjoy?

Our way to enjoy in Vancouver is cooking! Vancouver is a perfect place to find worldwide ingredients such as European, Asian, and Middle Eastern stuff!! We can try new ingredients which we never used before.

Both I and my boyfriend are interested in cooking and eating. Delicious foods make us happy!!

“Grilled Salmon with Tartar sauce”

In the super market in Vancouver, we can see a lot of Salmon fish in the fish section.
Now is the salmon season!! (End of the season?)

They are selling these good prices about $12. I forgot how much was it in Japan but it seems really good deal!!

I’m really excited when I see Salmon, because this is my image of Canada!!

Before I came to Vancouver, I was expected the price of Seafood is cheaper than Japanese one. But it’s not true… Everything is more expensive than Japan…(´;ω;`)

Anyway, I cooked
