“Grilled Salmon with Tartar sauce”

In the super market in Vancouver, we can see a lot of Salmon fish in the fish section.
Now is the salmon season!! (End of the season?)

They are selling these good prices about $12. I forgot how much was it in Japan but it seems really good deal!!

I’m really excited when I see Salmon, because this is my image of Canada!!

Before I came to Vancouver, I was expected the price of Seafood is cheaper than Japanese one. But it’s not true… Everything is more expensive than Japan…(´;ω;`)



Anyway, I cooked
“Grilled Salmon with Tartar sauce”



***Recipe***

Time: 20 minutes.

《Ingredients》
◆Salmon
◆Salt: Just a pinch
◆Pepper: Just a pinch

Tartar sauce
○Minced Boiled Egg: 1
○Minced Pickles or Takuwan (Japanese pickles): Two heaping tablespoons
○Minced Onion: Two heaping tablespoons
○Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
○Lemon juice: One tablespoon
○Black Pepper: Just a pinch

《Directions》
1 Preheat the grill
2 Sprinkle both sides of each salmon with salt and pepper.
3 Put these into the oven. Grill salmon about 15 minutes.
4 When you are cooking salmon, “prepare Tartar sauce”. Mince Onion and run it under cold water. After that, drain in a colander well.
5 Mince Boiled Egg and Pickles, and mixed minced Onion, Egg, Pickles and mayonnaise into a boul.
6 Add salt and pepper to taste.
7 Finally take salmon from the oven and put some Tartar sauce on the grilled salmon.
